In the Garden
2009. In the Garden, an installation, stretched across a 900 sf expanse of gallery space to create a whimsical but silently disruptive environment where participant-observers could walk. Elements were composed of collected and re-purposed objects; painted, stained and formed tyvek; cardboard rolls; a cypress tree stump; baskets and shrines; and foam that burst into budding flowers. This imaginary world had no political agenda but quietly altered routine patterns of engaging the space.
